3 Individuals were Held up at Gunpoint in Pilar Capiz : News

News: Three (3) individuals were held up at gunpoint in Pilar, Capiz, this morning at approximately 9:40 AM. The victims, identified as Alays Toto, Nonoy, and Dodoy, were traveling to Panay when the incident occurred in Barangay Santa Fe.

 

According to Dodoy, the driver, they were traveling from Balasan when three individuals, posing as PDEA agents, flagged them down. The suspects claimed to be searching for illegal drugs in the victims' Toyota Innova. While descriptions of the suspects are currently unavailable, the police are actively investigating and pursuing leads.

 

The suspects, who were reportedly in a Mirage, boarded the victims' vehicle in Balasan, blindfolded the victims, and bound their hands with cable ties. They then fled towards Roxas City.

 

The suspects stole the victims' cell phones and cash, leaving them in Barangay San Blas, Pilar.

 

The victims are now in the custody of the Pilar PNP, and authorities are conducting a hot pursuit operation.
