ESTANCIA, ILOILO — Law enforcement authorities have seized more than ₱2.47 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested five suspects — including one High-Value Individual (HVI) — following a successful buy-bust operation conducted early morning of June 21, 2026.

 

The operation transpired at 2:11 AM along Clement Street, Poblacion Zone 2, led by PLT Adrian Y. Baligod, Chief of the Estancia Municipal Police Station. It was carried out by a joint force composed of:

 

- Estancia MPS Tracker Team

- PDEU Team 3 under PMAJ Dadje B. Delima

- 2nd IPMFC under PMAJ John Salvador Bello

 

Arrested Suspects

 

1. Alyas “Pirot”, 43 – Married, HVI, resident of Clement Street, Poblacion Zone 2

2. Alyas “Jo”, 52 – Married, resident of Zone 1, Estancia

3. Alyas “Yan”, 38 – Single, resident of Purok 4, Barangay Tacbuyan

4. Alyas “Deo”, 36 – Single, resident of Clement Street, Poblacion Zone 2

5. Alyas “Berto”, 26 – Single, resident of Purok 3, Barangay Bulaqueña

 

Recovered Items

 

- Approximately 364 grams of suspected illegal drugs

- Estimated street value: ₱2,475,200.00

- Marked buy-bust money: ₱20,600.00

 

All suspects are currently detained at the Estancia Municipal Police Station and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
